Elmslie is a lovely 1900’s homestead with a modern and tasteful extension overlooking the beautiful Tamar River,  with wide airy verandas, breathtaking views & lovely gardens, set in a unique rural vineyard. Elmslie Tasmania is one of North’s most popular wedding and function venues in Tamar Valley, as the picturesque vineyard location makes for memorable photos of your grand occasion. Our onsite Event Manager, Marlo Harris of Matson Catering, has an extensive background in weddings and event management, and can provide individually tailored menus to suit your style of function and your guest’s special needs if you wish.

Your photographer will have no problem capturing your wedding day at Elmslie, as our vineyard setting really is picture-perfect for a garden wedding with your ceremony overlooking the river. Guests can start with pre-dinner drinks or canapés on the sweeping deck, then move inside for either a sit down reception for up to 120 guests, or cocktail reception up to 200 guests. We offer a full range of wedding menus, locally sourced Tasmanian produce and a comprehensive wine list, so we guarantee your wedding will be the magical event you always dreamt of.
