Located in New South Wales, Rhonda is not only widely respected for her first class personal service and attention to detail when creating the perfect gown, but is one of the only authentic couturiers in Australia, as she can design, cut, assemble & sew a gown from beginning to end.
Boasting signature collections from slinky silk satin dresses to show stopping gowns, she is a true artist and master pattern maker, specialising in adaptations from the 20’s through the 50’s to the best of today. Whether you decide on a dress from the main collection or choose to have something custom designed, all Rhonda Hemmingway gowns are made in her Oxford Street, Darlinghurst workroom, enabling flexibility in design and fit as well as ensuring the very highest standards of workmanship.
When making an appointment for your wedding dress, you will meet personally with designer Rhonda Hemmingway to try on different designs and discuss any ideas you may have, and sketch the design for a unique gown that will make you look and feel absolutely fabulous on your big day. Working closely together with several fittings, your dress is then expertly fitted by Rhonda herself to ensure the design and shape is proportionally correct and perfected to your body, with a superb stunning finish for the dress of your dreams.
