Tara Guest House is an alternative option to the usual Sydney bed & breakfast in Enmore Newtown, Sydney. We offer an urban experience as per Soho, New York, as apose to an English rural setting. Tara Guest House boasts comfortable, informal accommodation, and have enjoyed a varied range of customers including business people, academics, travellers of all ages from home and abroad, architects, writers, musicians, actors and other creative souls with an eye to the good life. Our accommodation offers clean creative spaces with tall ceilings and French doors opening onto large verandahs.

Tara Guest House ensures effort is being made to make the house as eco friendly as possible, with both floors insulated and a water tank storage solution for the garden also. With a love for gardening, the huge garden has been restored, creating a beautiful space that compliments nature, and is a much enjoyed continuing project. We believe and have a strong commitment to sourcing local and prime quality ingredients for our customers. Our eggs are free range, organic and delivered to us by the people who feed the chickens, and our coffee and tea are direct trade from Toby’s Estate Coffee Roasters. The delicious bread is baked around the corner by Bourke Street Bakery and to the best of our ability, all the other ingredients used are gathered locally and are absolutely delicious. Tara Guest House have a great name for outstanding customer service, a comfortable friendly nature, and a genuine passion in sharing their experience with every visitor to the area.
