Mr Mick is named after K.H. (Mr Mick) Knappstein, a legend within the Australian winemaking industry, who’s passions in life was to make wines for everyone to enjoy, a tradition his last apprentice, local winemaker Tim Adams continues in his name. Today Tim and his wife Pam are proud custodians of this landmark property, where Mr Mick’s Kitchen offers a unique restaurant & wine experience with tapas style dining, and is a popular venue choice for weddings, private functions and celebrations.
For functions we offer “Murray’s Room” that comfortably seats up to 45 guests or for cocktail style events, the room holds up to 75 people, where you can share a number of small dishes of food and wine with family & friends from a variety of function menus to choose from. Surrounded by the iconic artwork of Murray Edwards, the casual & contemporary atmosphere makes the perfect setting for a vineyard wedding reception, private parties and special functions, indulging in superb food & beautiful wines to suit every palate.
