Created in 1994, Boobah Swimwear became a patented trademark in late 1995 and became largely known in November 1997 when it made it as a finalist at the Australian Fashion awards. At that time, it was embraced immediately by high end stockists. Shortly after, Boobah Swimwear sold its first wholesale collection in February 1998 to some of Australia’s high end resorts and hotels.
The label is successful due it’s design and manufacturing of spandex products. Boobah prides itself on using only the highest quality fabrics and raw materials, of which majority are sourced from Australian manufacturers. The range is currently manufactured in Australia and Boobah are committed to keeping it that way.
